About me

I was born in 1990. I’ve enjoyed Barcelona, London and Palma, where I currently live.

I studied the degrees of Mathematics (2013) and Telecommunications Engineer (2015) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) with a double degree plan at the CFIS (Centre de Formació Interdisciplinèria Superior). Later on, I studied the MSc Information Security (2014) at the University College London (UCL) with a scholarship awarded by the Fundació La Caixa. I defended my PhD thesis at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) (2018), where I currently work as a researcher and lecturer.

I am very interested in technology. I am passionate about creating, reason why I am interested on web design and programming. For another thing, mathematics contitute the perfect ally to leverage all the potential any technology may offer. Besides how creative they are, I firmly believe that mathematics offer surprising yet essential applications. Cryptography, image processing and, more in general, statistical machine learning are perfect examples.

Regarding me, I enjoy learning and discovering new things every day. I also like swimming, sailing, running, reading and, of course, eating well and sleeping :).
